Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to consultancy, advisory, and implementation services provided by Mye Tech Ltd ("Mye Tech"). Please read this policy carefully before entering into any service agreement with us.

1. Nature of our services

Mye Tech provides professional consulting and implementation services. These are services delivered by people — involving time, expertise, and intellectual effort. By their nature, professional services cannot be "returned" in the same way a physical product can. This policy sets out fair terms that reflect that reality while complying with applicable UK consumer and business-to-business contract law.

2. Business-to-business engagements

The majority of Mye Tech's engagements are with business clients. In these cases, refunds and cancellation rights are governed by the terms set out in the written service agreement signed between Mye Tech and the client. The standard provisions are as follows:

  • Before work commences: If a client cancels before any work has begun, any deposit paid may be refunded in full at Mye Tech's discretion, unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.
  • After work has commenced: Fees for work already completed and delivered will not be refunded. Where a project is cancelled mid-engagement, fees will be charged pro-rata for work completed up to the date of cancellation, plus any reasonable costs already incurred.
  • Phased projects: For projects structured in phases or milestones, cancellation at the end of a phase means no further work is undertaken and no further payment is due. Completed phases are not refundable.

3. Dissatisfaction with outcomes

Mye Tech provides professional advice and implementation support. Specific business outcomes are not guaranteed. Dissatisfaction with business outcomes following an engagement does not constitute grounds for a refund where the services were delivered as agreed.

If you believe the services delivered did not meet the agreed specification, please raise this with us promptly. We take quality concerns seriously and will work in good faith to address any legitimate service delivery issues. Where a valid complaint is upheld, remedies may include additional work to address the issue, partial credit, or (in exceptional circumstances) a partial refund.

4. Service agreement governs

The specific terms of any refund or cancellation will always be governed by the written service agreement between Mye Tech and the client. In the event of any conflict between this general policy and a specific agreement, the written agreement will take precedence.

5. How to raise a refund request

To raise a refund or cancellation request, please contact us in writing at [email protected] with your company name, the service in question, the amount paid, and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and respond in full within 10 working days.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable.
